How we work

We pull directly from the FMCSA's Commercial Driver's License Manual and cross-check state-specific variations against each state DMV's CDL handbook. Pages are written with AI assistance and reviewed against those manuals before publishing, which our editorial policy describes step by step. When a state changes its handbook edition, we flag which manual version our questions match.
